Bonneau du Martray has been a family-owned Domaine in Burgundy for almost two centuries. The vineyard lies in one entire parcel on the famous Hill of Corton, at the heart of the Grand Cru ‘Charlemagne’, as its single largest holding. This distinguished steep hillside traces its roots back to Emperor Charlemagne twelve hundred years ago.
The winery focuses exclusively on two Grand Cru wines:
Corton-Charlemagne, its flagship white
Corton, a red wine which translates in its own way the uniqueness of the place.
